One of the sad realities of life is that we take things for granted.

Obviously, this is true for many different realms of life. But currently, I’m referring to the fact that we gloss over all the weird things plants and animals do.

So for today’s bonus content, I would like to rephrase some of these weird things so that they might apply to humans. Maybe then the bizarreness that underlies our planet will become slightly more evident.

  1. Trees keep growing as they get older. If this were the case with humans, we would keep growing taller and wider until 93-year-olds were significantly bigger than everyone else. This would probably change how we build houses.
